Something else I also broke
My foot!
I was at a wedding at a castle on a hill yesterday. We got there too early (we didn’t see anyone we knew), so we went up to the castle to check it out. As I was walking down, I stepped where the concrete meets the grass, stumbled, and landed on my left knee. I hobbled the rest of the way down the hill.

I had to sit out the wedding, which sucked. I managed to stick around at the reception for an hour or two, but missed the after party…that also sucked, because it’s been a while since I got to hang out with my friends from high school. Everything was set in a gothic red and black tone.
Went to the ER, and they put a splint on my foot and gave me drugs….woohoo…lol
I’m off of work for the next three days, so I’ll probably be posting some random nonsense ![]()

Now that sounds like my life…it’s good to know that this kind of stuff happens to other people. Just so you know..when it did? I danced like a fool in my chair!!! Course my sons were younger then…now I’ think they’d push me outta the chair and into a pool to stop me from dancing my chair!

Lol…I am so stubborn and I hate to use crutches….I wish there was another way to get around. I hate being the damsel in distress, I’m not good at it at all…..lol

Oh your poor thing! Three days to hit your blog though.
Drug induced blogging could be fun though, it’d be like the Beatles’ Sargent Pepper

That castle is amazing! I’m sorry about your foot, though. And too bad you didn’t get to enjoy the wedding as much as you would have had.

Last weddings I visited I had to drive hundred of kilometres in very narrow roads. After that, I had to go walking for some time. As I can see, the tendency is to celebrate weddings in very beautiful but peculiar and sometimes difficult access places. Apart from that, the only thing I usually break is some glasses while I am washing dishes in the kitchen.
