What in the pagerank is going on?
Posted on October 24th, 2007 in Pagerank |
Maybe the professionals at Google know what’s going on with pagerank issues. I just read that Problogger has been knocked down to a PR of 4. Along with that, John Chow’s blog is also a PR4. Adesblog, who was a PR7, is now a PR5. CopyBlogger is a PR4 now.
What on Earth is this madness?!?
Anyone know?
Now, I’m not saying that pagerank is the factor in what makes a quality blog, that could be the furthest thing from the truth. I still read those blogs and find their content interesting and thought-provoking (as I’m sure most of us do.)

I dropped from a PR 5 to a 4, which is better than some people got. I’m not fond of the Google manipulation machine, to say the least.
My other site, Earsucker, stayed at a PR3….before I paired up with b5media, it was a PR4….
Knock on wood *knocking* mine so far has remained a 3. I really wished they would do away with the Google page rank system all together. It’s simply too stressful.
I only wish I had some pagerank to lose… being ‘knocked’ to a PR 3 would be a very good thing indeed!
