My foot!
I was at a wedding at a castle on a hill yesterday. We got there too early (we didn’t see anyone we knew), so we went up to the castle to check it out. As I was walking down, I stepped where the concrete meets the grass, stumbled, and landed on my left knee. I hobbled the rest of the way down the hill.

I had to sit out the wedding, which sucked. I managed to stick around at the reception for an hour or two, but missed the after party…that also sucked, because it’s been a while since I got to hang out with my friends from high school. Everything was set in a gothic red and black tone.
Went to the ER, and they put a splint on my foot and gave me drugs….woohoo…lol
I’m off of work for the next three days, so I’ll probably be posting some random nonsense

Not only will I provide you with my opinions on all things to do with blogging, but I will add other stuff from hereonin, as well.
I have a vast knowledge of random stuff, so I will be bestowing that on you. I’m branching out
I can ramble on about US credit reporting, debt collections, and random funny stuff. Maybe I’ll throw in some news and junk like that.
I’m like a tree…or, um…something. Could you think of a better word?

Fellow Clevelander, Jessie Davis, has been missing since June 13, 2007. Recently, a newborn baby has been found several miles away from the last known location of Jessie. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact the local police immediately.
This is a paid ad, but it’s local. And if you’ve seen her since her missing date, then you can help her family at ease.

Some bloggers online only see dollar signs when they think of blogging. Some, like me, think of the readership and the content as being the most important things when blogging. I haven’t made anywhere near $50.00 since I’ve been blogging on my own hosted domains, but I’m still doing it.
I’ve removed the nofollow from the commenting on this site, for the main purpose of rewarding commentators. I also reward regular commentators by having the top commentators listing for this blog.
I recently emailed Kumiko to see about putting $10 on a month of her ’super sites’ links. I figured ten bucks is pretty cheap for a month and I could use the advertising. So I was getting ready to transfer the money, then I just read this:
While I love every comment that I receive and enjoy replying to as many as I can, having the ‘No Follow’ tag removed does not help me make money online and I don’t believe that writing one comment justifies a backlink from this site.
I sell links. I don’t give them away unless it’s to something worthwhile!
I feel if someone takes the time out of their day to comment on my site, then they deserve the backlink. I feel that all of the comments that this blog receives are worthwhile. Having generated backlinks for my readers, I am helping them enjoy the community feeling that is slowly making this blog a little more popular.
When you’re the queen of the castle, you can pretty much do what you want. I’m still on the fence about whether or not to purchase advertising from someone who doesn’t value comments once they’ve gotten a regular readership.
That is just my two cents for the day. Over and out.
That’s just my opinion.

That is the understatement of the century. My twelve year old son, Jeffrey, broke his arm last night, in three places. He was rushed to a hospital in Westlake to have surgery, primarily because it broke through the skin. I stayed there with him last night and today, he’s feeling better.
So, I came home this morning and passed out, cold. Seriously, a marching band could’ve paraded through my bedroom and I would’ve slept through it. I woke up to a voicemail from Jeffrey saying that his dad was about to leave and he wanted to know if I’d come back. And, of course, bring him a cheesburger.
I started my trek to Westlake via I-90W and figured I’d find an ATM or a Burger King on the way to the hospital. I didn’t want to get some BK in Cleveland, then by the time I got there, it’d be cold. Did I find anything in Westlake? No such luck. It was rush hour traffic on a Friday afternoon and my boy was hungry. What to do, what to do. I drove around Westlake thinking I could find a bank or a Burger King somewhere.
I ended up running back to Cleveland anyways, to get him a burger, and by the time I got there, he’d eaten some ravioli that the nurse brought him.
I guess rich people don’t eat fast food or need money. I’ll have to remember that when I’m rich.
Burger King and National City, if you can hear me, there is a huge market for you in Westlake. Hop on it, stat.

The Franklin Mint and 20th Century Fox have really minted an official U.S. quarter with an image of the Silver Surfer on the obverse. What kind of nonsense is this?
Legal tender coin is a California state commemerateive quarter minted by the U.S. Mint and color-enhanced by Franklin.
One side of the limited edition collector’s quarter features an image of the Silver Surfer character, while the name of the movie’s Web site appears in tiny lettering.
So now it must be okay with the federal government to use money as a marketing ploy? Jeezus, what will they think of next?
Update: The Mint is ticked off and may find the Franklin Mint for this stunt:
The U.S. Mint said in a news release Friday that it learned of the promotional quarter this week and advised the studio and The Franklin Mint they were breaking the law. It is illegal to turn a coin into an advertising vehicle, and violators can face a fine.
